Doctors are called upon to manage teams. This is not an easy task. And all the more so because during their many years of study they will have been afraid, if not never confronted with this aspect of their profession. This trainingion is specifically adapted to the problems of medical management.

Nothing is more difficult than managing teams so that each member of staff accomplishes his or her mission in a context as complex as that of the hospital. Indeed, the workload, the importance of each act, the pressure from patients and other departments are all factors that alter the motivation of employees.

The aim of this training is to explore ways of improving working relationships.

Once this training is completed, the doctors in charge of the department will have developed their personal and relational qualities in order to facilitate communication within their team. They will be able to increase the accountability of their staff, create a climate of trust, encourage support for their projects and carry out collective decision-making that is directly applicable with the consent of all.

This programme, developed by our team under the supervision of the department heads themselves, is based on experience gained in various hospitals in order to be as close as possible to the reality in the field.

The method aims to improve performance through three stages:

    • the desire to improve
    • the improvement itself

Concrete cases are studied that are close to the reality of life in society. Such as:

    • how to conduct a decision interview
    • how to do management by objectives
    • how to conduct a team meeting
    • how to motivate close associates
    • how to become a manager-coach
